For over a thousand years the ancients traveled to Delphi Greece from all over the Mediterranean world, put their differences aside and sought wisdom from the ancient Oracle and the gods. The sacred site was a place of cleansing, worship, ceremony, the exchange of ideas and wisdom for the purpose of personal, communal, and spiritual guidance.
In the spirit of Delphi we will gather for a three-day international symposium in reflection and response to this vulnerable time in our world. As we find ourselves at a potentially critical juncture, we invite you, in the Delphic spirit, to open to expansive spiritual perspectives and diverse viewpoints with the intention of discovering our inter-connectedness, common purpose, and desire for a peaceful and sustainable life on earth.
We will:
- attend diverse presentations from renowned speakers
- engage in small group discussions
- build cross-cultural connections
- visit the sacred sites of Delphi
- develop a future plan for self and community
- celebrate with local Greek music and cuisine
- use live-stream and social media for expanded access
